Today on the blog, we're taking a look back at the logo and branding that Rusty Designs created for the Avalanche Foam Party at Billingham Forum Ice Arena. This session launched back in 2014 and was a new innovation at the Forum Ice Arena. Avalanche was introduced to enhance the popular Friday night disco session and was aimed at the teen market of Billingham, Stockton and Middlesbrough.

Much of the branding is formed around the giant bubbles that form much of the background for posters and large format print which was created using Adobe Illustrator utilising the transparency settings to display the soapy colours within the bubble that change depending on the background colour. Elements such as the music levels and crowd vectors help the brand to appeal to the younger target audience.

Developing the Brand

The brand has since been developed to account for a number of themed nights such as back to school, Christmas and end of term parties.
